Last week, on Thursday, 27.02.2025, we were honoured and thrilled to host the roundtable on the theme
The idea of organizing this event appeared last year, as a consequence of the amendment of our law on establishment and functioning. Starting in 2024, CSC is also organising continuing vocational training courses – this is not just an option, but a necessity, given the rapid evolution of construction technologies and materials and the ever-changing requirements of the market.
Created with the support of the Romanian social partners in construction, F.P.S.C. and F.G.S. Familia and with the support of AEIP – The European Association of Paritarian Institutions, the event brought together representatives of the cabinet of the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Ms. Roxana Mînzatu, of the European social partners in construction, FIEC and EFBWW, of the paritarian organizations operating in the construction sector in EU states: Constructiv – Belgium, Formedil – Italy, CNCE – Italy, Fundación Laboral de la Construcción – Spain, the social partners in construction in the Republic of Moldova, Patromat and Sindicons, the TEC Cluster, The Romanian Construction Sectoral Committee and the Bulgarian Chamber of Construction.
We explored together challenges, opportunities and best practices in continuing vocational training, the role of vocational education and training in the green and digital transition and ways to make our sector more attractive for workers, young people etc.
We remain confident that the exchange of ideas and best practices will bring us all closer to our common goal: a more competitive, innovative, and attractive construction sector! In achieving this, vocational education and training play a crucial role.
